Grant of Nobility and a Coat of Arms to Georg Frischman — 3 May 1727

A Coat of Arms Graciously Granted and Bestowed upon Georg Frischman
We, Charles VI, make known to all and sundry whom this matter concerns that, acceding to the most humble petition of certain of Our faithful subjects presented before Our Majesty, and taking into consideration the loyalty and faithful services of Our subject Georg Frischman, permanent estate administrator to Prince Paul Anton Eszterhazy of Galanta at Frakno and of the lordship of Szczukő, that is, Hornstein, which he has faithfully and steadfastly rendered, first to the Holy Crown of Our aforesaid Kingdom of Hungary and thereafter to Our Imperial House and Majesty, in various places and at various times, on diverse occasions and in circumstances of need, and which he promises henceforth to render with the same zeal, loyalty and constancy;
We have therefore graciously deemed it fitting that the said Georg Frischman, who was granted his freedom by the late Prince Michael Eszterhazy of the same Galanta, hereditary lord at Frakno and his lord of the manor, and who was most humbly and successfully recommended to Our Majesty for the grant of nobility, should be admitted, incorporated and enrolled among the nobility;
and, through him, likewise his wife Katharina Händlein; his sons Johann, Joseph, Ignaz and Franz, born of Paula, and Anton Ignaz; and the daughters of the said spouses Georg and Katharina — Rosalie, Anna Theresia and Maria Anna Katharina;
provided, however, that the properties they now actually possess, and those they may possess in future, shall not by this grant of nobility be exempted from the charges to which they are subject.

Charles VI of Habsburg – the monarch who granted nobility to Georg Frischman in 1727.
Coat of Arms
A military shield divided horizontally into two fields.
The upper field is blue and bears three golden stars arranged in a single line.
In the lower, silver field, above a green hillock, is a human arm wearing a red glove and holding in its hand three golden roses with their stems.
Upon the shield rests an open, barred military helmet, adorned with a royal crown, from which emerges another human arm, in every respect similar to the arm described above.
The helmet is adorned with mantling, or flowing bands, gold and blue on one side and silver and yellowish on the other, descending towards the edges of the shield.
As all these things have been depicted and described, so We decree, receive, incorporate and enrol them among the nobility, and give, bestow and grant them the aforesaid coat of arms by virtue of this document.
In perpetual remembrance of this act, We have signed this document and ordered it to be furnished with Our seal.
Given through the hands of Our faithful subject, the illustrious and noble Count Lajos Batthyány, hereditary Count of Németújvár in the county of Vas, administrator of the county of Zala, Our Royal Chief Cupbearer in Hungary, Chamberlain and First Assessor of Our Royal Hungarian Court Chancellery;
at Our castle in Laxenburg, on the third day of May in the Year of Our Lord 1727.
